To register for the Congress and Halong Bay Heritage Marathon, you will be asked to sign up or sign in via the Heritage Marathon website. You may also review your order here.

For members of AIMS, sign in with the email address that received this code and note that 01 code applies for 01 registration only. If you have 02 codes or more, please register for one delegate at a time.
 

▼ How to register for the Congress

Visit the Congress website and choose “Registration”. Select “Step 1 : Congress Registration in Hanoi”. 

If you are an AIMS member and receive a free code, please register for one delegate at a time. Sign in with the email address that received the free code, if so, this code will be automatically applied at the checkout page.

Then you will need to book for your stay in Hanoi. Visit “Step 2 : Hanoi accommodation booking” to explore our official hotels with better deals.

Complete the Congress registration at the earliest before 31/07/2024. Please note that your free code is also valid until this date.

▼ How to register for the Halong Bay Heritage Marathon

Once you have registered for the Congress, return to Registration page and Select “Step 3: Halong Bay Marathon Package”

You can choose between : 
SINGLE PACKAGE (180 USD) : 1 running slot, transportation, dinner and 01 single hotel room for 01 night included; or 
DOUBLE PACKAGE (310 USD) : 2 running slots, transportation, dinner and 01 double hotel room for 01 night included.

▼ Participation packages: Why are there different prices ?

For the Congress, we have two different fees :

1. for delegates (486 USD/person) and
2. for accompanies (200 USD/person).

Delegates have full access, while accompanies only participate in dinners, social events and transportation, not Congress meetings.

Participating in Halong Bay Heritage Marathon is optional, with two options : 

1. SINGLE PACKAGE (180 USD) : 1 running slot, transportation, dinner and 01 single hotel room for 01 night included; or 
2. DOUBLE PACKAGE (310 USD) : 2 running slots, transportation, dinner and 01 double hotel room for 01 night included.

▼ Mistakes in registering : How to correct them ?

Once successfully registered, you will receive a confirmation email inviting you to fill in extra information. Here you can update this form at any time when accessing this email.

▼ Cancellation policies : process and fees

The Committee will not refund the registration fee under any circumstances once the registration form and fee payment are completed. If you need to change personal information or transfer your participation rights to a third party, you must comply with the regulations set by the Organizing Committee for each marathon.
To request modifications, contact the Organizing Committee via email at congress@dhavietnam.vn . The Committee will provide support as soon as possible after receiving your request.
If you need to change your participation distance, requests must be made before the deadline, which is the race date. If the new registration has a higher fee than the original, you must pay the difference. If the new registration fee is lower, the balance will not be refunded.

▼ How to get a visa to enter Vietnam

To travel to Vietnam there are two visa options you can choose from;

One option is to apply for a visa (E visa), on the Vietnamese Immigration Departments website. The E visa allows stays of up to 90 days. Permits both multiple entries. To apply you'll need to complete a form, make the payment through an electronic payment gateway and wait for approval, which is typically sent via email.

Alternatively citizens of countries may be eligible for visa exemption allowing entry without a visa for periods that vary from 14 to 45 days based on nationality. Common requirements include having a passport valid for six months from the entry date and with enough blank pages.

▼ How is the conference organized (program, venue...)?

The AIMS 2024 Congress is organized with a comprehensive agenda spanning three days. The program includes presentations, panel discussions, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities. The event will be held at the Dolce by Wyndham Hanoi Golden Lake, featuring a luxurious venue with state-of-the-art facilities. Social events and excursions to Halong Bay are also included.

▼ What transportation services are provided during the Congress?

The organizing committee is committed to providing comprehensive transportation services for all participants throughout the Congress. This includes shuttle bus services from the airport, transportation between official hotels and Congress venues, and excursions from Hanoi to Halong Bay. Detailed schedule information will be communicated shortly.

 

▼ How will I get from the airport to my hotel upon arrival?

Upon arrival at the airport on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, participants will be greeted by a Welcome Desk adorned with the official logo of the 24th AIMS Congress. Dedicated DHA receptionists will assist you in navigating your way to the designated shuttle bus, which will operate at regular intervals, departing every 2 hours from 00:00 to 24:00 on November 13th. Alternatively, participants can arrange transportation via taxi or private car to their respective hotels, with assistance from our knowledgeable staff.

 

▼ What if I prefer to arrange my own transportation from the airport?

If you prefer to arrange your own transportation, you can opt for a taxi or private car to your respective hotel. Our knowledgeable staff at the Welcome Desk will be on hand to assist you with these arrangements.

 

▼ What payment methods are accepted for Congress registration?

Accepted payment methods include bank transfer via QR code and payment cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or Amex).
