Introducing the Empower Run – The Journey of Empowerment

Recently, K Hospital, along with its partners, organizations, and charitable foundations, has been consistently organizing impactful activities to support cancer patients at K Hospital as well as across the country.

In order to create a sustainable fundraising initiative for cancer patients, while also promoting a healthy lifestyle and raising awareness within the community, K Hospital, in collaboration with the Cancer Patient Support Fund – Bright Tomorrow, is excited to host the first-ever Empower Run in 2024. This event is not just about supporting cancer patients, but also extending that support to the dedicated healthcare staff at K Hospital, as well as encouraging everyone to join hands in the collective mission.

Here’s what you need to know:

1. Time and Location of the Event

1.1. Time: From 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, December 8th, 2024.
1.2. Location: Ly Tu Trong Flower Garden, Hanoi.

2. Details About the Run

2.1. Participants: The event is open to all athletes (staff, clients, partners of K Hospital), and anyone who loves running.
2.2. Expected Number of Participants: Approximately 1,500 individuals.

3. Start/Finish Line: Ly Tu Trong Monument

4. Run Schedule

Arrival:
6:00 – 6:30 AM: Athletes gather at the start line.
Opening Ceremony and Start:
6:30 – 6:45 AM: Official opening of the “Empower Journey” run.
6:45 AM: Countdown and start for the 2.5 km race.
7:30 AM: Start for the 5 km race.
Finish Line Welcomes:
7:15 – 8:30 AM: Welcoming the top 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers for each distance.
8:30 AM: Awards and medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers.
9:00 AM: Closing of the race and event conclusion.

5.2. 5 km Distance: Ly Tu Trong Monument (Start) – Nguyen Dinh Thi – Trich Sai – Nguyen Dinh Thi – Ly Tu Trong Monument (Finish)
