From Hanoi to Ha Long, a popular and relatively convenient way to travel nowadays is VIP Limousine service that picks up at your spot, or by bus from My Dinh bus station, with prices ranging from USD 6 (around VND 140,000) to USD 10 (around VND 240,000) for a one-way trip, depending on the bus company. The frequency of the bus leaving the station to Ha Long is every 30 minutes and the travel time is about 3 hours 30 minutes.

The Halong Bay Heritage Marathon has the ONLY running track in Ha Long certified by the World Athletics and the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races. The race is part of the official competition system of the Vietnam Sports Administration and the Vietnam Athletics Federation.
