Mekong Delta Farm Tours

Farm tours are a special tourist product in the Mekong Delta, which has atracted thousands of Vietnamese and foreign travellers each year.

Tours taking travellers to fruit farms always leave an impression of the richness bestowed by nature. This is the homeland for  providing all kinds of typical fruits in Vietnam's southern region such as durian, pineapple, longan, mango, star apple, rambutan, mangosteen ...

Fruit farms are abundant in the region, but the most distinctive places are in Vinh Long province (Binh Minh, Tam Binh, Binh Hoa Phuoc), a province close northeast of Can Tho; Tien Giang (Cai Be, Chau Thanh districts and My Tho city). Even in Can Tho, we can visit O Mon and Cai Rang, and going further to Dong Thap or Tra Vinh, many green gardens can be found everywehere, which are ideal tourist spots, especially in the dry season.

As part of the fruit farm tour program, visitors can pick fruit by themselves, garden, wade down a ditch to catch fish or visit traditional craft villages. You can also cycle on the tree-lined streets. The garden tour also includes an experience of overnight stay at local people's houses, thereby visitors can get a better sense of the Mekong Delta life.

Transportation means between places may be a boat ride or a horse cart, visitors will enjoy the performance of "cai luong" by folk artists. There is no place in Vietnam to listen to Cai Luong better and more suitable than in the middle of the Delta.
